Cherry burl box

This live-edge Cherry burl box was turned from an off-cut of a burl. The timber is native to Michigan, and was recovered from an area that was undergoing logging operations. A good quantity of lumber waste (timber deemed unusable by the logging outfit and left behind) was recovered, and this was turned from some of that timber.

The box measures 3” in diameter and is 1-1/2” tall.
