This box was turned from Michigan-native Maple crotchwood, with brass inlay. The finial is Purpleheart that was sourced from South America. The box was turned, buffed and dyed with alcohol dyes, and I think the Purpleheart finial complements it nicely. Opening the box is almost like a opening a ripe, sweet fruit!

The box measures 5” in diameter and is 8-1/2” tall.
